and Maryanne were first introduced to the pleasure of plain and chocolate
dipped almond biscotti while living in the San Francisco Bay Area in the
early 80's. Mike's Coast Guard career led to assignments where great
biscotti just wasn't available. Left with the choice of going without, Mike
chose to make his own.
Countless
recipes were tried, tested and adjusted over the years. The result is a
biscotti that family and friends say are "to die for". A bit extreme
perhaps, but it does evoke the passion associated with those who enjoy
dunking a truly great almond biscotti in a cup of rich coffee, tea or hot
chocolate. |
