Situated on a crest rising above Plumer Road, Plumercrest is a fine example of Victorian Italianate architecture. The grounds include gardens, a gazebo and the Plumer Cemetery. Plumercrest was built by the great granddaughter of Governor William Plumer, on his estate. Reservation Deposit: A 50% deposit of the total cost you your reservation is required via American Express, VISA, Master Card or Diner’s Card credit cards. We also accept advance payment via money order or personal check with credit card information as a guarantee. For special events, group bookings and affairs, or reservations made 14 days or less prior to arrival, the total cost of the reservation is charged in advance.
Cancellations: A refund will be given only if notice of cancellation is provided via telephone conversation, email or in writing 14 days prior to arrival.
Special events, group bookings and affairs, a refund will be given only if notice of cancellation is given via email or in writing 45 days prior to arrival. Less than 45 day notice - only the portion of your reservation we are able to rebook will be refunded. Please contact us directly for policies on extended stays of more than one week. All cancellations are subject to a 20% administration fee. Every effort will be made to reschedule your visit or provide credit towards a future stay.
Check In: Between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm. For arrivals prior to 3:00 pm arrangements must be made 24 hours in advance. For arrivals after 7:00 pm arrangements may be made; and we require the first night's lodging to be paid in advance.
Room Guarantee: Due to our limited size, it is difficult for us to hold a specific room for a one night stay for any night between June 1st and October 31. During this period an additional $25 will be charged to guarantee a specific room for stays of only one night on Sunday-Thursday nights. A two night minimum stay is required for reservations including a Friday or Saturday night.
Children: Advanced notice is required of all children over the age of 12 years. Prior approval is required for all children under the age of 12 years.
Pets: Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate pets.
Breakfast: Our full country breakfast is included in your room rate.
Smoking: Due to its historic wooden architecture, no smoking is allowed in Plumercrest.
